Grand Rapids, Mich. – West Michigan’s largest aviation company, Northern Jet Management has experienced a significant increase in the number of charter flight hours over the same period as last year.
This new economic indicator shows that the economy is improving not just in the charter aircraft business, but business overall, as more executives are utilizing on-demand executive charter service for business travel.
From February to May 2010, the company has experienced a significant increase—30 percent—in the number of charter hours compared to the same period last year.
Charles Cox, CEO and founder of the group of aviation companies, said, “We have compared data from February through May 2009 to February through May 2010, and overall we have experienced a year-to-year increase of 30 percent. This is one more sign that the economy is improving, not just in the charter airline business, but business in general.”
